We are so excited for this hands-on Garden Guru event that will get you comfortable with trying canning at home. We will be doing both a pickling recipe and sweeter sauce recipe that is TBD to get you savvy with different styles. Erica German is our guru, she has started her own preserves company that showcases all kinds of creative concoctions. Inglorious Preserves by Hipster Nonsense
We will be working with fruit that is currently being gleaned by Bear Aware volunteers from Revelstoke fruit trees and we are open to your suggestions as far as recipes go! Come roll up your sleeves in the spacious kitchen facility we've rented, remember closed toed shoes and non-flammable clothing (facility rules).
Closer to the date we will need you to RSVP for this event, since we need to plan for the number of people who will be joining us at the Rec Centre Kitchen Facility. Please stay tuned for more details!
